It appears that Nokia’s N’Gage phone is not selling well.. Nokia had expected to see a very positive public response from N’Gage, and so far numbers are well short of plans.

N’Gage, which is Nokia’s gaming system for cell phones, was originally released in 2002. Nokia’s plans for selling N’Gage ended up falling well short of their original goal:
“I am not happy. I said we needed to sell six million in three years, and we sold one-third of that. We need to make some changes,” said Anssi Vanjoki, head of Nokia’s Multimedia division, which produces N-Gage.
Nokia, which is the world’s largest cell phone supplier, has decided to bring the cell phone games over to their N-Line series of phones.
