Motorola makes a SmartPhone for the Chinese market

Motorola introduces a Chinese Smartphone.

The semi-transparent clamshell smartphone runs on a Linux OS, features a built-in 2-megapixel camera and a touch-screen with handwriting recognition. The smartphone also supports office productivity software as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

This just goes to show you the ever-increasing importance of the market, especially as it relates to cellular.
