Motorola recently announced that they are introducing MOTOwi4, a wireless network that is built like no other.

The MOTOwi4 is a broadband solution that allows consumers to access the Internet, E-Mail, Voice, as well as downloading audio, video and music downloads without wires with a cell phone, UMPC or other types of wireless devices.

This will offer internet access to places that might not otherwise have it.

Wireless internet is part of the new future, and Motorola is forging ahead with a brave new network. They’ve done very well so far, and are extending their reach a bit into other related markets.

Motorola provided Wi-Fi connectivity for a number of events including Superbowl XL in Detroit Michigan, and was used for video surveillance of the event.
Security is a big business and it isn’t hard to believe that cell phones and wireless devices will start changing the way security is done.
