Nokia has been on a roll lately. Now they’re making life easier for bloggers and podcasters with their new N-Series phone that makes podcasting downloads easy. Nokia and I both agree that podcasting is a killer app of the current decade:

Nokia sees podcasting at the next step in turning mobile phones into what it calls “multimedia computers” that can replace digital music players, or mp3 players, like Apple’s iPod, Multimedia Director Tommi Mustonen said.

Nokia is very big on pushing the ideas of “multimedia computers” which would be the replacement for the many devices consumers currently huge. The potential market is huge, combining the number of people who now use the disparate devices.

Nokia’s N-Series functionality is rapidly increasing. The N-Series is known for sleek styling and innovative features. This week they’ve presented several N-Series multimedia computers that include blogging and podcasting capability. Expect more soon.
