Get Involved in Virgin Mobile’s Re*Generation

Virgin Mobile has announced that they are teaming up with Standupforkids.org and Youthnoise. com to raise money for neglected, abused and underprivileged children. This is being done through their charitable arm, Unite.

How can you help raise money for this cause?
You can help in a number of different ways.

1. Cash donations are being taken (via credit card) at Virgin Unite.

2. You may also choose to download anything from Virgin Mobile. 5% of the profits from every download, whether it be ringtones, wallpapers, or mobile video content will be given to Virgin’s partners.

3. Text Message. Simply text the following to donate $1.00 from your Virgin Mobile balance.
*For Youth Noise, text Noise (66473)

*For Stand Up for Kids, text SU4K (7845)
Virgin will match donations up to $250,000.00 in 2006 for donations made through text messages.

4. Download a special tone. This is available in your Re*generation folder on your mobile phone.
505 of the profits will benefit Virgin’s partners. Donations will be matched to $250,000.00.

This seems like a worthwhile program that aims to help those that need it the most. Children.
