You won’t have to stop talking to someone on your Cingular phone in order to share video. As the rise of video popularity continues, Cingular has plans that make your life easier.

“It’s a video share service where you can show a video while talking about it,” Cingular’s Chief Technology Officer Kris Rinne said on the sidelines of the Yankee Group Wireless Leadership Summit.

Cingular is in the same boat as other cell carriers, they need to push new video products in hopes to stay competitive. Calling plans have been under margin for awhile now, so more lucrative areas are being researched.

The company did not divulge either the marketing strategy of the price point of the product, both of which will be critical to their success.

The service will be available in the next year.
