Sometimes long term contracts aren’t what we’re looking for in life. Especially as they relate to cell phone services.

That’s one of the reasons that you should consider a GoPhone, serviced by Cingular Wireless.

This prepaid calling plan doesn’t require a credit check, an annual contract or a deposit to get started. You can sign up for Prepaid minutes or signup for a billing plan that is charged monthly to your credit/ debit or checking account. Monthly plans start as low as $29.99 monthly, and Prepaid accounts allow you to pay for only the minutes you need.

Cingular offers a number of refurbished phones, including the Sony Ericsson T290a, Motorola V173, and the Nokia 6061 to service these types of accounts. The cost of these phones isn’t included with these calling plans, and cost the consumer considerably less than a brand new cell phone.
