Sprint/Nextel announces new Motorola i580

The new Motorola i580 is the latest offering from Sprint/Nextel. The main feature of the new phone is its’ ruggedness. The phone also has some very nifty features, including an embedded camera. It’s also the first clam form factor phone which offers Bluetooth.

The iDen clamshell factor phone has been designed to meet a number of military specifications concering performance. The phone is able to handle even the most rugged outdoor activities, so if you’re a go-getter, this may be the phone for you.

Features of the Motorola i580:

1.3 megapixel digital camera, producing high-quality images, a self-

The phone sells for $279.99 (after all rebates) and is available in Sprint stores nationwide.
