When I first heard the name of Motorola’s new slider phone, the RIZR, the song “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf popped into my head. I think it has something to do with the ‘Get your motor runnin’ lyrics and the Moto RIZR being similar, or maybe it’s because being ‘born to be wild’ means you should be able to make a phone call and text message from anywhere that you’re at? I’ll have to ponder that one and get back to you.

Back to the subject at hand. The MotoRIZR mobile phone. This is another newbie in Motorola’s lineup. This phone has Quad-Band Technology for better connections and seamless roaming, even when your in a foreign country. (That’s a vote for WILD.)
It has large, easy to use keypad so even big fingertips don’t have to fumble.
The RIZR is a digital music player that supports the following audio formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, and AAC+ Enhanced. With 1 GB of MicroSD memory there’s a lot of storage for your favorite songs. You can transfer your audio collection using a USB connection and enjoy it wirelessly using an optional Bluetooth headset.
Tucked inside, you’ll find a 2.0 megapixel camera and a full screen display that gives you easy access to your photos and video. This is a great way to keep the pictures that mean the most to you close at heart.
Other Great Features of the RIZR:
I decided this phone sounds “Wild” to me after all.. Watch for the RIZR in the second half of 2006.
