Chances are you’ve heard the term “wearing your heart on a sleeve” and now Motorola and Burton are offering consumers the chance to wear their mobile phone on their sleeve with a fashionable and warm jacket for the upcoming winter season.

This coat taps into the wireless capabilities of your bluetooth enabled phone to listen to streaming music or to make phone calls. Integrated speakers in the hood of this jacket make it even easier to hear.

A wired stereo headset and control panel located on the sleeve offers Caller ID so you know who is ringing you up before you take the call. The Audex jacket is compatible for use with Ipods, as well.

Hidden pockets throughout the Audex give you plenty of places to stow away your wallet, keys or other must have items, and this jacket is sturdy enough to use on a downhill skiing trip.

The Men’s Audex Cargo Jacket is available in True Black and Roasted Brown, and the Women’s Audex Dutchess Insulated Jacket series in True Black or Petal Pink. This jacket is compatible with any Bluetooth1.1 or 1.2-enabled phone that supports “headset” and “hands-free” profiles.

The Audex jacket is expected to hit markets in Q3 of 2006.
