Verizon Extending Wireless Coverage in Holden, MA

In an effort to better serve customers in Holden, Massachusetts, Verizon has extended their wireless coverage with a new cell site.
The new site will increase coverage along Route 2, North Main Street and into the downtown area. It provides broadband speed connections for subscribers to download music, video, multimedia and other V Cast services provided by Verizon. Average download speeds for people in this area are between 400-700 KBPS.
Verizon has been aggressively growing out their network capacity, spending an average of about 5 billion a year to extend or improve their existing infrastructure, and this new cell site extends their reach just a little bit further.
