Cingular Opens New Cell Site In Opa-Locka

Today Cingular announced that they have opened a new cell site in Opa-Locka, Florida.

This site is located on Northwest 42nd Street in Miami-Dade county. The addition of this cell site will improve cellular coverage along Le Jeune Road, the Opa-Locka Executive Airport, and other surrounding areas.

The addition of this site is one of 45 that have been activated in Florida this year. Cingular also plans to roll out its 3G network in Florida before years end. 3G networks provide broadband speed connections to internet enabled cell phones.
