Verizon Wireless Adds Coverage in Manhattan

Verizon Wireless just opened 4 new cell sites in Manhattan, New York.

The addition of these sites will provide better coverage and larger network capacities for residents and visitors in the following neighborhoods:

Lenox, Seventh and Eighth Avenues between W. 129th and W. 123rd Streets in Harlem and in Midtown: Lexington, Park and Madison avenues between E. 39th and E. 42nd streets as well as along Second and Third avenues between E. 52nd and E. 56th streets.

Much of the New York Metro area also has access to Verizon’s new BroadbandAccess that provides broadband speed connections to the internet for enabled cell phones and other wireless devices.
