Today Verizon Wireless announced that they have added a new cell site to service the Queens, New York area.
The addition of this new cell site will improve coverage and add network capacity to Springfield Gardens along Merrick Boulevard, Baisley Boulevard and Farmers Boulevard between 180th and 166th streets.

Verizon Wireless announced that they recently opened a 30 million dollar MTOS (Mobile Telephone Switching Office) in Southfield, Michigan.
This switching office is over 21,000 square feet and will house the electronics that run Verizon's network across the region.
