Alltel recently announced the “My Own Game” Sweepstakes, a chance for college students at the University of Florida, North Carolina State University, Florida State University, University of Arizona, University of Virginia, University of Oklahoma, Duke, Clemson, University of Michigan, University of Texas-El Paso, Kansas State University, and the University of New Mexico to win great prizes, including the Grand Prize.. a 42” DLP HDTV, a Samsung MP3 player, and a football game named in their honor with game tickets for your 10 closest friends.

Participants must write a 50 word essay on “‘Why I Deserve My Own Game.” There will be 10 finalists from every school, and the finalists must “rally” their friends to vote for them through text messages or online. Contestants that get the most votes at their own school will win a prize package sponsored by their school.
