Alltel Activates First Cell Site Inside Of Cardinal’s Stadium

Recently Alltel opened their first cell site inside of a football stadium, the New Arizona Cardinal to be exact.

This new cell site will provide excellent wireless coverage throughout the brand new 344 million stadium and is located on the the service level and provides coverage to all levels of the stadium.

“Our customers expect superb coverage wherever they go, and our goal is to deliver the best wireless experience in Arizona,” said Scott Thompson, vice president of retail services for Alltel. “Alltel Wireless, with the only cell site in Cardinals Stadium, will give fans greater ability to stay connected while attending events in the facility.”

The Cardinal Stadium is the home of the XLII Superbowl to be held in February 2008.
