Cingular Launches New 3125 Smartphone

Today Cingular unveiled their newest Smartphone, the 3125. It is an ultra slim flip phone that’s the first of it’s kind for both consumers and business users.

The phone is jet black and is a little over a half an inch thick. Despite it’s small size, the 3125 is packed with features.

It uses GSM/GPRS/EDGE network connections.

Consumers can browse the mobile internet using Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and also has Microsoft Mobile Office preloaded. You can instant message with a number of clients including Microsoft Direct Push, Cingular Express Mail, POP3 and IMAP4 mail clients, MSN Messenger, and Good Mobile Messaging systems.

It has both video and music playback and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

You can connect to the phone using Bluetooth v 1.2 or a USB v 1.1.

The 3125 Smartphone is now available at Cingular and retails for $149.00. They also offer a version without the camera, the Cingular 3100.
