This handset works with DoCoMo’s powerful FOMA(R) 3G network to deliver mobile content to subscribers cell phones and to stay connected with friends and loved ones.

“We knew people were waiting for MOTORAZR, and we knew the Christmas season would be big. This proves it will be as big a hit in Japan as it is everywhere else,” said Motorola’s Michael Tatelman, corporate vice-president and general manager, Mobile Devices Business, North Asia. “This is the best possible endorsement of the strategy DoCoMo and Motorola have pursued in creating a device that is powerful yet elegant and sophisticated, and is a clear demonstration of how much people in Japan want a device like this.”
