LG Announces “Shine” Cell Phone Series For Brunei

LG has had a lot of success with their “Chocolate” phone series, and now they’re readying a series for Middle East consumption. The second of the “Black Label” phones, Shine promises to offer some of the same functionality and design features as the chocolate.

LG “Shine” was launched into the Korean market on October 18 last year and in the European market last month and will be made available in the Middle East in the beginning of May.

“Shine” is a fully metal bodied super-slim handset with a trendy tricky mirror LCD on the front that magically transforms into a high-quality colour screen when the phone is activated. While “Prada” is a unique, sophisticated and elegant mobile with innovative touch screen technology brought out in collaboration with Prada, the international lifestyle icon.

LG plans on selling a total of 78 million handsets globally this year. The 3rd model in the Black Label, “Prada” is rolling out in more markets as well this year. LG has become a major player in a relatively short period of time.
