I know some people have been eagerly awaiting this moment. The Nokia N95 Series Multimedia Computer is now available for sale in the United States.

Nokia N95 has started selling in the United States at Nokia Flagship stores, online and through select wireless retailers. The Nokia N95 is an all-in-one multimedia computer that truly
demonstrates what the Internet has to offer by bringing the net together with the latest in wireless communication technology. The Nokia N95 features a unique 2-way slide design for easy switching between phone, music or video mode. It is also equipped with WiFi connectivity, integrated GPS functionality and a 5 megapixel camera featuring Carl Zeiss optics.
“The Nokia N95 easily replaces a number of single purpose devices with a well designed package that encompasses a fast and powerful multimedia computer,” said Bill Plummer, Vice President, Sales & Channel Management, Multimedia, Nokia North America. “The Nokia N95 is a personal, powerful and connected device that is optimized for music, video and to conveniently
access anything on the World Wide Web.”

Quite a few people have been on waiting lists for months for the device to arrive. Nokia reported higher than usual traffic in their New York and Chicago stores based on eager folks in a hurry to get their N95s.
