Motorola W215 Has Been Launched In India

A new era of cheap cell phones is dawning in India, as all the major manufactures line up to introduce affordable but dependable phones. The newest offering is the Motorola W215, which has a unique design which should appeal to the masses.

Motorola, Inc has announced the launch of W215, a feature rich and affordable handset with an attractive candy bar look. The slim (14.9mm thick) handset comes bundled with a range of features that includes a VGA camera with 4x zoom, vivid 65K TFT colour display and an integrated stereo FM radio with speakerphone offering up to 14 hours continuous playback and the option to preset 9 FM channels.

The suggest price is Rs 4000, which is a good bit more expensive than a similar offering from Reliance that was announced yesterday. Their offering, of course, is a phone with greatly reduced features compared to the Motorola W215.
