LG Chocolate Card Phone KE820 Available In India

We’ve been covering the great number of phone releases in India lately, like the cheap Reliance handset, and the Motorola W215, and here’s another noteworthy phone worthy of mention. LG has extended on its’ popular Chocolate series of phones with a Card Phone, model KE820, that takes from the original, and adds a unique flair all its’ own. They hope this will be a hit with India’s mobile consumers.

For the music lovers the phone has MP3 Player & Ringtones, Graphic Equalizer, FM Radio with 12 Station Memory and FM via speaker phone. It supports all music formats like MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+. The phone also comes with a 256MB Memory card, so that one can store all their favorite songs. And for those who need the best of technology the phone has USB Compatibility & can be used as a USB Pen Drive, External Memory Card Slot, EDGE, Built-in Modem, Call conversation recording, Speaker phone and Tri-Band (900 / 1800 / 1900).
According to Mr. H S Bhatia, Business Group Head, GSM Mobile, LGEIL, “The Chocolate Card Phone has a very high standard of technical specification but its primary appeal is its design, sleekness and elegance. The market is constantly moving towards new formats and technologies and LG has ensured that the phone is in synergy with these market needs. We have great expectations from the phone.”
The KE 820 is available for Rs. 14,500/- only and comes with free accessories (256MB Micro SD Card, Leather Carry Pouch, USB Data Cable and Stereophonic Headset Kit) Worth Rs. 2500M
The phone is a bit more than offerings from Reliance, but has a different feature set and a different consumer in mind.
