Anyone can tell that LG has been selling more phones than ever. A few years back, they were unheard of. Now models like the “Shine” and “Chocolate” have pushed sales forward incredibly fast, and the company is predicting it will double sales in 2007.

Worldwide, the Shine has sold more than 180,000 units in Korea since last November while in Europe 200,000 units were sold within the first month of its launching.

“LG is positive that the Shine will enjoy similar success in Malaysia,” Kim said.

The phone combines a stylish design with high technical specifications including a “magic mirror” screen, 2-megapixel camera, multi-media players and a document viewer which can read Microsoft Office and PDF files.

It supports GPRS and EDGE network compatibility, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and has a stainless steel body.

So far their new models have been well received, so it’s unlikely sales will slow down in the near future.
