Nokia-Siemens Wins Mobile Network Gear Orders In Russia And India.

Today Nokia announced that they had secured two large mobile network gear orders in both Russia and India.

Nokia-Siemens will partner with Idea Cellular Ltd., the fifth largest mobile carrier in India to expand their GSM network. The deal is worth $500 million dollars.

In Russia, Nokia-Siemens signed an agreement with Russia’s Mobile Telesystems to build a 3G radio network in the Moscow region. Terms of this agreement weren’t disclosed.

Nokia has been on a roll lately. They signed a 2.5 billion dollar agreement with China Postel days ago.
