Sometimes growing pains are a good thing.

Samsung just announced that they are planning to restructure their handset division to meet the demands of a growing global market. Samsung is the number two world producer of mobile handsets, beat only by Nokia.

Samsung recently hired a new marketing executive after developing a global team to strengthen their position in foreign markets.

As part of the new plan, some jobs will be redistributed to other divisions within the company. Samsung is also looking to partner with higher end brands to develop premium style mobile phones to appeal to those that demand high end mobile communication devices.
