Celtel recently announced that they are adding internet access to their lineup of available services to their subscribers in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

They are launching “One Office”, which will give easy access to wireless internet throughout the region.

“In addition to being able to move freely across geographical borders without roaming call surcharges and without having to pay to receive incoming calls, Celtel customers can now access the internet just as easily and a much faster speed.” said Chief Executive David Murray.

“There are no special subscription fees charged and customers do not need to change their handsets settings. They simply take their phone to any East African country and use it absolutely the same way they would in their home country. This is communication being made easy, efficient, and convenient,” he added

This service is expected to make communication for people that conduct business in East Africa
more convenient and cost efficient.
