iPhone Drops Extra Large Phone Bills

This announcement comes as no surprise, AT&T has decided to drop the extra large phone bills that subscribers got that itemized their call and data information last month.

Instead they’ve decided to opt for a summarized bill that will be only a few pages long. Anyone that wants to access the information provided in the larger style can still see this information online.

“It’s going to be in a decidedly thinner envelope. Given the fact that some of our iPhone customers are going to be heavy data users — and we like that — we also don’t want them to be burdened by getting tons and tons of paper in the mail, figuratively.” said AT&T spokesman Mark Siege.

Summarized billing statements will begin on September 28, 2007.
