Here’s one for all of those mobile phone users that aren’t looking for a new fangled phone with enough bells and whistles to keep you occupied for days and months trying to figure it out.

This phone, developed by Willcom and Sanyo has one task. To make phone calls. There’s no fancy camera, MP3 player, internet access, bluetooth or even a display screen.. just numbers. In fact, this phone doesn’t even need to be charged! It operates off a AAA battery and provides 5 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time.

For now the phone is only a prototype and is only available in Japan. We’ll keep you posted if it makes it to mainstream America!
