Nokia To Buy Mobile Advertising Company Enpocket

Nokia recently announced that they were purchasing a mobile advertising company called Enpocket for an undisclosed amount.

Nokia is planning on extending on their mobile phone advertising capabilities and Enpocket’s platform can deliver mobile advertising across multiple formats including SMS, mobile Internet advertising and video, giving them many options to extend their own advertising capabilities.

Enpocket is a private company based in Boston.

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2007.
