Verizon Wireless recently announced that they have added a new cell site in Northwest Ohio.

The addition of this new cell site in Toledo will enhance coverage in portions of the city and Lucas County, Ohio. These areas include:

- Southeast from Maumee River along Interstate 280 to the town of Northwood.
- East along State Route 2 from East Broadway Street to the town of Oregon.
- South along S. Wynn Road from Corduroy Road to Brown Road.

“These network enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to meet the growing needs of our customers and to provide them with the reliable, high-quality service they expect from Verizon Wireless,” said Roger Tang, president – Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia region, Verizon Wireless.

The addition of this site is part of an overall plan to upgrade and expand wireless coverage in the State of Ohio.
