Verizon Wireless Adds Coverage In Connecticut

Verizon Wireless recently announced that they have expanded coverage in New London County, Connecticut with a new cell site.

The new cell site will increase coverage and capacity along Routes 349 and 649, as well as improve coverage at Groton-New London Airport.

This new cell site will bring BroadbandAccess to Verizon Wireless subscribers, allowing them to download video, music and other mobile content at broadband like speeds to their cell phone or other wireless enabled devices such as laptops or PDA’s.

This cell site is part of a multi million dollar plan to extend and upgrade Verizon Wireless’ network.
