AT&T recently announced that they were partnering with Napster to provide digital music to their wireless customers.

Under the deal, AT&T will offer its subscribers Napster tracks for $1.99 each or $7.49 for five songs a month from mid-November. This will give subscribers access to approximately 5 million songs.

The popular iPhone, however, will not be able to access digital music via Napster, since that Smartphone model works exclusively with iTunes.

AT&T also said it aimed to offer music downloads exclusively to mobile phones through direct deals with artists.
