If you’re a big fan of the NHL, and you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, you are in luck today indeed. Verizon Wireless has announced NHL Mobile Video Alerts, which go directly to your phone as they happen. Never be left behind again, when it comes to knowing exactly what happened on ice. This is the first such exclusive agreement between a company and a sports league.

Verizon Wireless customers who sign up for the game highlights video alerts package can stay on top of their favorite team’s on-ice performance through 15-second mobile video alerts with accompanying audio that highlight key goals and remarkable plays. Mobile video alerts are sent
after each period — including overtime — for every game, allowing fans to stay informed throughout the competition. Hockey fans will receive a maximum of four video alerts in one night.
