Sprint recently announced that wireless customers can now access Hawaiian music from the Mountain Apple catalog using their Sprint mobile phones and other wireless devices.

The catalog carries work from artists Israel Kamakawiwo’ole and the Brothers Cazimero. Downloads are available for .99 per song.

“Sprint is committed to the Hawaii market and believes that a wide range of mobile music should be offered to all our customers. That’s why we are offering Hawaiian music by some local favorites, such as Iz,” said Dale Goya, general manager, Sprint Hawaii.

So the next time you’re in the mood for some island music, look no further than your Sprint network mobile phone. The music service is available now.
