Orange Has Sold 30,000 iPhones In France

December 5, 2007 – 7:37 am

It hasn’t take Orange long to sell iPhones. The company has announced the sales have occurred in the iPhone’s first week of sales in France.

The French launch of Apple Inc’s (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) iPhone saw hundreds of buyers queue up outside Orange’s flagship store on Paris’ Champs-Elysees, in a similar frenzy to the ones just after its initial launch in New York and elsewhere in Europe earlier this year.

The iPhone combines usual mobile phone devices with the facilities of an iPod music player, an Internet browser and other multimedia options.

As expected, the early adopters have responded to the sale of new technology.
