Nokia Wants To Be World Leader In Mobile Communications

Nokia is number one. They are the world’s largest manufactures of mobile phone equipment, and the plan on leading the world in mobile communications.

One of his observations was the huge growth in data traffic. Nokia expects a 75% increase in total traffic next year, Mr. Misek told clients in a note, adding that entertainment and messaging were the key drivers in 2007.

Nokia also predicted than 4 billion people will be using mobile devices by 2010, compared to roughly 3 billion today. One third of these users are expected to be high speed at 3G or above, the analyst said.

Nokia’s Ovi Internet services concept meanwhile, pits it against consumer multimedia portal leaders like Apple, Google and Microsoft.

In order for Nokia to remain at the top, they will have to deal with Google.

    2. Well I guess Nokia are the true market leaders because of the fact that they have provided the telecom industry around the globe, with variety of cell phones as well as application softwares built-in their handhelds.
