AT&T Launches ‘Big Mobile On Campus Challenge’
April 2, 2008 – 7:21 amAT&T recently announced that they were launching a mobile application contest called Big Mobile On Campus Challenge. This contest is for full-time college students and staff to develop innovative and creative mobile applications that enhance academic performance, build campus community and help to improve campus security operations.
The contest is open to all full time college students and full and part time employees at four-year public or private accredited, nonprofit colleges or universites in the continental United States. Participants must be 18 years old and legal residents of the US.
The “Big Mobile On Campus Challenge” contest runs through August 31, 2008. Entrants will be judged through the month of September and the winner will be announced in October. The grand prize is a $10,000 scholarship to the person (or group) that comes up with the next big idea. The award ceremony will take place at the at the EduCause Annual Conference Oct. 28 – 31, 2008, in Orlando, Florida.
If the winner is a college staff member, the prize will be awarded in cash.
