Florida Senator Carey Baker Seeks Ban For Cell Phones Behind The Wheel

Florida Senator Carey Baker is expected to introduce new bills that limit and bans the use of a mobile phone while driving a car in the Sunshine State.

The bill calls for two new measures. One measure prohibits drivers 18 and over from sending or reading text messages when behind the wheel of a car. The other would ban the use of cell phones altogether for drivers under the age of 18.

Baker has supported other legislation that banned the use of cell phones while driving, but so far none of them have passed.
