Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

This weekend is a great time to reflect and honor the brave men and women that have fallen defending our country. It’s also a great time to remember the men and women that are serving abroad.

Brittany Bergquist, 16, and Robbie Bergquist, 15; came up with a thoughtful idea to help keep soldiers in contact with friends and family. They have been recycling old phones and taking the proceeds to buy prepaid phone cards to send to our military.

They founded the program in April 2004 and have raised and have raised more than $1 million dollars and sent more than 75,000 phone cards to our American troops overseas.
