Indian Bookstore Launches Interactive SMS Service

Today Mobile 365 announced that they have signed an agreement with the Oxford Bookstore (a leading online bookstore in India) to deliver SMS messages to book lovers that want to stay on top of new book releases and bestsellers.

“We are thrilled to launch this SMS service, and engage in interactive communication with millions of mobile users who are also avid readers,” said Rajiv Chowdhry, Chief Executive Officer, Apeejay Oxford Bookstores Pvt. Ltd. “Through this service we will deliver instant information to users, assisting them to make informed buying decisions, while helping us understand and evaluate our consumers’ preferences on reading and buying
books. We look forward to establishing a strong mobile community of booklovers across India.”

This service will provide access to an extensive database of Indian books across 43 different categories and is updated daily. Subscribers will also be able to post comments or feedback directly to the Oxford bookstore.
