Nokia Sees High Definition Video On Cell Phones

As technology keeps merging and emerging with new technologies and capabilities, it comes as no surprise that Nokia is seeing HD Video abilities being available on mobile phones.

It’s coming. Technically, we are a couple of years away,” Nokia’s Chief Technology Officer Tero Ojanpera told Reuters in an interview. “It’s still a few years away.”

Nokia currently offers the N95 which has video recording capabilities.

Nokia alone will sell around 200 million cameraphones this year and aims to sell more than 250 million in 2008.
