Universal Chargers For Cell Phones Close To Becoming A Reality

There’s nothing worse than your cell phone running out of juice and not having the charging device with you. Many mobile phones have chargers that can only be used to charge a brand or a line of mobile phones and aren’t compatible with other phones.

That will soon be a thing of the past. Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and LG have agreed on a universal standard for chargers – a micro USB. A Micro USB can be used to charge from an outlet, charge from a PC and sync with a PC.

Now getting a charge will be that much easier – thanks to one device that fits all!
