What is Ev-Do?

Cell phone technology is quickly evolving to keep you connected to the people and things that you love, including music, the internet, video and other sources of content.

One of the newest mobile phone technologies is called Ev-DO, which is an acronym for Evolution Data Optimized.

Users of EvDO phones can connect and download from the internet at speeds up to 2.4 MBPS.
No wires are required. You can use it at the beach, in your home, at the mall or just about anywhere to get Email, download ringtones, or even play games.

Connecting to the Ev-Do phone is simple. All that’s required is a an Ev-DO enabled PC card that slides into your laptop computer and enables your phone to connect.
