Xun Chi 138: Is it Really the Smallest Mobile Phone?
by Razib Ahmed
September 26, 2006 – 6:28 pmThe mobile phone companies are engaged into a rat race to produce the slimmest and smallest mobile phone set. It seems that the most important breakthrough has come from China. I could see a number of reports in several websites and blogs about Xun Chi 138, the smallest mobile phone. If you want to see the cool images then you should visit Phonedaily.com.
About its features, I4U.com wrote:
The phone is dubbed apparently Xun Chi 138.
It is only 67mm tall, but features color touch screen, handwriting recognition, 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, USB and SD card slot.
The weight of the ultra-small cell phone is 55g.
So, I believe that it is indeed the smallest mobile phone in the world. I like the pink color and I am also excited about the fact that Xun Chi 138 has MP3 player and camera. The pink color will attract many female consumers. There is just one problem with the phone. According to Newlaunches.com, Xun Chi 138 is not going ‘to hit the West anytime soon as the Xun Chi 138 supports only Chinese character recognition for now.’ So, we have to just enjoy the beauty of the phone set instead of hoping to own one.
